Since 1984 BOSS™ Software Corp has been providing solo and small group practices with office automation that is both powerful and simple to use.

Computer Knowledge Required

Ninety percent of our users were computer newbies before purchasing the package. Installation of the program is automatic; moving around the system is easy and intuitive; and the user’s manual was written with the "new computer user" in mind.

Customer Support

We provide telephone technical suppport at no charge. Annual telephone support contracts are available for $695.

This consultative approach to learning our software gives a new user the comfort of personal one on one instruction which results in a clearer understanding of how and where to input data, and most importantly how and where the data can be retrieved. Therefore, much of the "big black box" syndrome so common for new computer or software users is kept to a minimum.

We offer remote installation and support.

Hardware Requirements

  • Pentium III 500mhz CPU
  • 500 megabytes hard drive storage available.
  • (1) CD-ROM drive.
  • 512meg RAM - Minimum
  • Color VGA Monitor.
  • Windows XP (Pro) or newer
  • Printer (InkJet, or Laser)
  • Modem\Network (internet) - for electronic claims module.
  • Multi-user version is Peer to Peer and/or connectable to a file server.

Our software is available for stand alone computer systems and muti-user offices.   It works effectively in solo or small group practices.  With NO modification (or extra cost) it works perfectly for billing services!

The Electronic Claims Module

We can set up our software using your existing Electronic Claims Carriers, or switch you to ours.

Once the Electronic Claims Module is installed your ongoing costs will be:

  • US$.58/claim for users that wish for our electronic clearing house to print to paper those claims that the will not be accepted electronically.
  • US$.39/claim sent electronically by our clearing house.
  • One-time intial set-up fee of $150. (NO other yearly charges!)

Why Send Claims Electronically?

  • Average processing expense per claim drops by two-thirds, and rejections drop by 30%!
  • Payments of claims transmitted electronically are two to three times faster than when mailed!
  • Some insurance companies charge more for mailed claims than those filed elctonically.

What about the "free" claims software some insurance companies distribute?

  • You will be forced to enter patient visit information twice, once into your own billing software and once into their software - doubling overhead costs. With our billing software, you enter information ONE TIME ONLY.
  • You will have to transmit insurance claims to each insurance company (each with its own electronic format). With our software, all claims are batched together and transmitted with ONE PHONE CALL.
  • Some of the "free" software that is distributed simply sends claims through the telephone lines, prints them to paper and processes claims the old fashioned way. BEWARE!
